i've signed up for a couple of fic exchanges & sportsfest this year, so I thought a dear creator would be a handy little reference! listed below are all ships/ themes i'd like to read & write, so feel free to bait me with the themes below (even if you're my creator, i'd love to write for you too)!

themes:

coming of age stories
discovering things about yourself as you're growing up, something simple or small that happens that strikes you and weaves into your soul, in a sense your life changes from that moment on (good literary examples would be stories by haruki murakami, lolita by vladmir nabokov)

*first loves/ occurrences that shape you
similar feelings to the above, but also applies to pairings with (*) beside them. i like them written as past-partners, people whom you loved before you knew how to, or friendships that moulded you until you both outgrew each other (esp kagehina). feel free to intepret this as a general prompt, or to interpret those relationships differently though!

post-canon getting together
losing each other once everything turned sour when you were young and foolish, and the chance at redemption that comes 10 years later. these are the fics i love the most; atonement, death and rebirth all have a part here that i simply adore

long distance r/s
something about not being able to be together even if you want to really gets to me, which is probably why i like post-canon getting together and this! give me skype calls with terrible connection, sending voice messages or worried texts... just kill me with this one


psychological/ sexuality explorations
helping someone cope with anxiety, autism, synesthesia, low self-confidence, asexuality, bisexuality, homosexuality etc; gen fics with friends helping someone feel accepted being who they are literally makes me combust! surprise me with how they do it; there's a lot of room for this in terms of both exploring the possibilities of mundane life & room for creativity

magic realism narratives
intertwining realistic narrative with surreal elements of dream or fantasy, using elements of nature as imagery (i.e. waves, planets, stars, sun, earth, trees) to delve into a character's thoughts and development. i especially love this with a 'slice-of-life' storyline
